Reader's Theater

I was blown away on how great our class did with our first reader's theater. We read with such great expression. We will continue to work on our expression and fluency for next time!

Johnny Appleseed

We are a little late, but the 3rd grade had so much fun learning about Johnny Appleseed. Our class was able to enjoy homemade applesauce!

Bird Banding

We had a wonderful time on our field trip to the Chadron State Park. We really enjoyed learning about bird banding and spending a fantastic morning outside.

States of Matter

In science we have been learning about the states of matter. Once all the 3rd graders were mixed into three different groups, we started our adventure making "Ooblick". We investigated if it was a solid, liquid, or gas. Once we eliminated gas, we were stuck between solid and liquid.

Awesome Places In the United States

Our class did a great job presenting on different United States Monuments and National Parks. Each group had to research their monument or national park. Once they were done researching they created a poster to present to the class what they learned. We found out there are lots of neat places in the United States.

Mount Rushmore

Everglades National Park

Grand Canyon

Statue of Liberty

Golden Gate Bridge

A Little Life Science!

Our class was lucky enough to have one of our students bring in a huge elk antler and a deer antler. We really enjoyed looking and learning about the antlers.
