Thanksgiving Tea

The third graders worked really hard learning about manners. They were able to practice their manners at our Thanksgiving Tea. They did a great job!! The parents did a wonderful job helping set up, supplying food, and serving the students. Thank you to everyone who made our tea such a success.

Mrs.Marker

We were super sad to see our O & P student from Chadron State College leave. We loved having Mrs.Marker in our classroom. She will be missed!!

Rotary Club

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club for supplying every third grader at Chadron Intermediate with a dictionary. The students have absolutely loved them. They haven't wanted to put them down!

MATH!

In our classroom we have been learning about measuring. This day we learned about estimating. The students estimated and then went around the room to find the exact measurement of different objects. They even estimated and measured Mrs. Olson's crazy hair. :)

Crazy hair day was the perfect day to work on measuring. Mrs. Olson's hair was 11 inches high!

Red Ribbon Week

Wow, did we have some crazy hair and socks or what? We had a great time celebrating Red Ribbon week.

Halloween Fun

We had a fantastic Halloween. We enjoyed fun rotations around the third grade, a party with delicious treats, and visiting Crest View Nursing Home. Thank you to all of the smiling faces at Crest View who made our Halloween extra special.

Monument Presentations

After learning about several different monuments the students picked a National Monument/Park to study more about. They did a wonderful job presenting their research to the class. We sure live in a pretty cool country.
