Food Tasting

In Social Studies we have been learning about diversity. It has been exciting to learn not only how diverse our classroom is, but also the world. Our class has been researching and finding out our heritage and what makes us unique. We have been sharing our heritage with our classmates. One of the ways we did this was through food. Students had the opportunity to bring in a dish that showed their heritage. They were asked to research what they brought and present to the class what they learned. Everyone did an amazing job! It was also a blast to try all of the different dishes.

A Generous Surprise

Today our class received a wonderful surprise. One of our parents was gracious enough to bring us a big box of new school supplies. The students were excited to discover several boxes of crayons, glue sticks, erasers, and dry erase markers. We really appreciate being able to restock our supplies this time of year. Thank you Mr. Brodrick for your wonderful donation to our classroom.
